It's potent. A brand new twin-turbo, 4.7-liter straight-infusion V-8 supports output over that of the old instinctively suctioned 5.5-liter by 47 drive and 125 pound-feet of torque, doing so with less dislodging and a 2-mpg increment in parkway mileage. (Unlike the past CL550, the base cost makes a point not to incorporate a gas-guzzler expense. The EPA estimates 15 mpg metro, 23 parkway.
